Intelligent Processing Solutions Ltd (iPSL) Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement for the Financial Year 2020
The United Kingdom Modern Slavery Act of 2015 requires certain businesses to publish a statement of the actions taken to prevent or otherwise eradicate slavery and human trafficking from their supply chains.
iPSL is a UK Business Process Outsourced (BPO) financial services company specialising in cheque processing. iPSL is a joint venture company between Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds Banking Group and Unisys Limited, which is the majority shareholder and whose Codes of Conduct we follow.
iPSL is committed to treating all persons with respect as expressed in the Unisys Code of Conduct, Business Partner Code of Conduct and the iPSL Labour Standards Policy, and to doing business with third parties who share our values. Therefore, all forms of slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and child labour as defined by applicable law are prohibited within the Company’s operations, including in our supply chain. Our associates and suppliers are held accountable for violations.
In addition, iPSL is taking the following actions to prevent human trafficking:
The Unisys Compliance Helpline, maintained by the Unisys Compliance Office, is available for our staff, business partners and third parties to obtain guidance on potential ethics issues or to report any ethics violations. The Compliance Office maintains strict confidentiality in handling contacts and is committed to protection of reporting parties
iPSL conducts due diligence on our third party suppliers that includes review for potential human trafficking violations
Training on human trafficking risks is provided to all staff (employees, associates and contractors)
The modern slavery risk assessment is reviewed on an annual basis
Development of key performance indicators to monitor control effectiveness
Unisys Slavery and Human Trafficking policies, and iPSL’s Labour Standards Policy, are reviewed annually.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the UK Modern Slavery Act and represents iPSL’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending December 31, 2020.
This statement was approved by the iPSL Board of Directors on 13th July 2021 and will be reviewed each financial year.
