Intelligent Processing Solutions Ltd (iPSL) Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement for the Financial Year 2016

Section 54 of the United Kingdom Modern Slavery Act of 2015 requires companies with a turnover above £36m to publish a statement of the actions taken to prevent or otherwise eradicate slavery and human trafficking from their supply chains.

iPSL is a UK Business Process Outsourced  (BPO) financial services company specialising in cheque processing. iPSL is a joint venture company between, Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds Banking Group and Unisys, who are the majority shareholder and whose codes of conduct we follow.

iPSL is committed to treating all persons with respect as expressed in the Unisys Code of Conduct,  Business Partner Code of Conduct and the iPSL Labour Standards Policy.

In addition, iPSL is taking the following actions to prevent human trafficking:

  • The iPSL Whistleblowing Line and the Unisys Compliance Helpline are available for our employees, business partners and third parties to obtain guidance on potential ethics issues or to report any ethics violations. Strict confidentiality is maintained at all times in handling contacts and we are committed to protection of reporting parties.
  • iPSL is conducting enhanced due diligence on our third party suppliers to seek assurance that they are in compliance with the Act
  • Awareness of slavery and human trafficking risks will be provided to employees.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the UK Modern Slavery Act and represents Intelligent Processing Solutions Ltd Modern Slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending December 31, 2016

This statement has been approved by the iPSL Board of Directors and will be reviewed annually.
