ICS Programme Director

I joined iPSL in the summer of 2017 to drive forward the ICS programme which is responsible for changing the way we process cheques from paper to image.

I have over 15 years of experience within Financial Services, working on a variety of large programmes and operational areas. My career started in 2003 as a test analyst with RBS. One of my key achievements was working on the bank’s takeover of ABN Amro before I progressed to working on the William & Glyn project to launch a new credit card. I’ve worked on major integrations and separations during my career and I was also responsible for setting up customer channels as part of the Santander takeover part of RBS.

It’s great to be part of an exciting, ground-breaking programme and, although we’ve had our challenges, I’m working with a great team who go the extra mile every day to ensure we’re set up for success on our journey to digital.

The programme was ready for the ICS industry go live date at the end of October last year and since then we’ve introduced strategic mobile outclearing for Lloyds and HSBC, we’ve opened up ICS to all sortcodes across the payments industry, started to rollout ICS to our client’s branch networks and opened up our bulk processing channel.

We’re now pulling out all the stops to ensure we support our clients HSBC, Lloyds and Barclays, through the challenging ramp up to full rollout of image clearing which is currently scheduled for the end of the year.
