iPSL Executive Team

Our executive team is drawn from a legacy of banking and financial services operations, consulting and outsourcing services. We understand the challenges faced by senior executives in banking and financial services operations, having faced some of these challenges ourselves, in past operational leadership roles with market leaders.

The direct reports to the executive team and a large part of their teams are also drawn from a rich legacy in banking and financial services.

Chief Executive Officer

Jim has been working in the Financial Services industry for over 40 years starting with Citibank, whom he joined in Belfast, in 1971 and where he held numerous overseas management posts in Scandinavia, Switzerland, Ireland and in the UK where he was Managing Director for Consumer Operations across Europe. Jim joined GE Money in 2004 where he was Vice President & Head of Operations Europe and since 2006 until end of 2009 was General Manager and Head of Service Delivery for HSBC Bank plc.

Geoff Ambrose

Geoff Ambrose

Business Change Director

Geoff has over 20 years experience in financial services and has worked with each of the UK’s leading clearing banks as well as a number of international consulting and outsourcing organisations. He is an expert in regulatory programmes, international payments systems and outsourcing arrangements in corporate, investment and retail banking environments. Geoff has a wealth of experience in business transformation within the UK financial services industry and has implemented a number of significant strategic change programmes for the major UK banks. Prior to moving into banking, Geoff established a solid grounding in consulting at PA, Steria and KPMG.

Leo Csaky

Leo Csaky

General Counsel & Company Secretary

Leo was appointed General Counsel and Company Secretary to iPSL in January 2007. Leo is responsible for new business contract negotiations and is integral to the commercial team’s focus on cost control and purchasing best practice. Supported by a panel of law firms, Leo advises the business on company, employment, litigation and general commercial legal issues.

Paul Demby

Finance & Risk Director

Paul is a chartered accountant and has over 14 years’ experience in various Finance Director roles within the UK and US covering both European and Global roles. Prior to joining iPSL in 2003, Paul was with Unisys, where he worked with leading banks and financial services organisations to reduce costs via solutions from the Systems Technology division. As a key member of the Risk Committee over a 6 year period, Paul has built up significant knowledge of the Risk & Compliance Function enabling him to manage and provide direction to an independent team which includes a specialist Business Continuity function.

Louise Fermor

HR & Communications Director

Louise joined iPSL with valuable perspectives from outside financial services, with extensive experience of over 20 years in Hospitality, Retail and Logistics, with each environment having a strong customer ethic. Louise has a proven leadership track record in delivering HR Strategy to support business goals, whilst ensuring the HR Function delivers exceptional service to the business, stakeholders and customers. Louise has worked with leading brands which include Mitchells and Butlers, Carlsberg, British American Tobacco and DHL. She has experience in change management at multiple organizational levels and a commercial focus to HR practice which has delivered significant economic value. Louise has a passion for seeing people grow and develop and believes everyone at all levels should have the opportunity to be the very best they can be in their role, ensuring a sustainable future for the organization.

Dave Hall

IT Director

Dave is responsible for the design, development, build and support of all of iPSL’s applications and IT infrastructure as well as day-to-day IT service delivery to all internal and external clients. Dave has 25 years' experience in IT, 13 of those in various management and leadership roles with IBM, Lombard Tricity Finance, First National and Abbey National. While at Abbey, Dave was responsible for a major off-shoring project. He provides oversight for key change programmes, as well as ensuring that our systems and our links into key banking systems are delivering to requirements.

Bob Wright

Operations Director

Bob is responsible for all operational services across nine processing centres throughout the U.K. He is also responsible for strategy, business development, the running of all client accounts and all industry facing activity, including iPSL’s relationship with the UK Payments Council. He has spent 30 years in various operational roles within the banking and financial service industry with Barclays Bank and MBNA Europe. He has held a variety of senior positions within both organisations, more latterly as Head of I.T Infrastructure and Networks at Barclays and as Head of IT for Europe with MBNA. Bob joined iPSL in 2006 as I.T Operations Director and took up his current role in 2008.
