Corporate Social Responsibility
iPSL’s Corporate Social Responsibility mission is to deliver benefits to employees, shareholders and other stakeholders, while also demonstrating a return on investment by focusing on iPSL’s charitable and environmental activities. In addition, we aim to take the principles of CSR and apply them to what we do day to day.
Following a tremendous 2009 in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Care, iPSL is proud to announce that it has chosen the NSPCC as its Charity of the Year for 2010.
The NSPCC was selected by staff across all sites.
The NSPCC’s vision is to see a society where all children are loved, valued and able to fulfill their potential. Their mission is to end cruelty to children. NSPCC’s strategy for ending cruelty is made up of four strategic objectives which provide the direction and focus for all of our work and against which we are able to assess our effectiveness.
- Objective 1. To mobilise everyone in society to take action.
- Objective 2. Give children the help, support and environment they need to stay safe from cruelty.
- Objective 3. Find ways of working with communities to keep children safe from cruelty.
- Objective 4. To be, and to be seen as someone to turn to for children and young people.
The NSPCC has embarked on an ambitious expansion programme to realise their vision of answering every call to ChildLine and the National Helpline. That’s why they have launched their biggest call for support since the FULL STOP appeal in 1999. The Child’s Voice Appeal is raising money to expand the centres and open new ones, update the helpline technology, recruit staff and train volunteers to answer calls from children across the UK.
iPSL will be channelling funds raised towards the Child’s Voice Appeal.
